Governmental legislation has driven an advance in engine and emission control technologies but fuel quality has not kept pace and is left lacking. Sensitive fuel systems combined with an increase in stop/start driving raise the risk of deposits in the fuel system, engine, turbo, diesel particulate filter (DPF) and catalytic converter (CAT). Such deposits can affect engine performance, fuel economy and exhaust emissions. Excessive build-up can trigger engine warning lights and restrictive limp-home mode. CarbonCode Diesel Doctor uses a proprietary formulation of high-performing detergents enhanced with polyether-amine to deliver more cleaning power than conventional fuel cleaning products. CarbonCode Diesel Doctor safely removes deposits from the fuel system, internal diesel injector deposits (IDID) and other carbonaceous build-up from the combustion area. Deposits are systematically and safely removed from critical fuel system and engine components. A stabilisation pack protects against corrosion and helps remove water from the fuel. CarbonCode Diesel Doctor is suitable for all older and modern diesel engines running pump or bunkered diesel fuel, including the latest Euro 6 specification engines in cars, tractor units, agricultural machinery, marine, rail and heavy duty equipment.
