Governmental legislation has driven an advance in engine and emission control technologies but fuel quality has not kept pace and is left lacking. Sensitive fuel systems combined with an increase in stop/start driving raises the risk of deposits in the fuel system, engine, turbo, diesel particulate filter (DPF) and catalytic converter (CAT). Such deposits can affect engine performance, fuel economy and exhaust emissions. Excessive build-up can trigger engine warning lights and restrictive limp-home mode. CarbonCode DPF and Turbo Doctor uses a proprietary formulation of high strength detergents and combustion catalyst to safely remove deposits from the engine, turbo, catalytic convertor, diesel particulate filter and fuel system. Fueloxy catalyst molecules are activated during the combustion process, rather than destroyed like conventional detergents. These molecules bond with post combustion carbon acting as a catalyst to effectively and safely remove deposit build-up.
